2009 Cadillac Presidential Limousine (Source) |
President Barack Obama's just concluded India visit has
turned out to be a money spinner for General Motors, the makers of presidential
limousine called ‘The Beast’. The limo is based on a number of GM platforms
featuring the best of Cadillac’s dramatic design and technology and shares
components with several different vehicles. The technical details and picture
album of the brand new 'The Beast' that Obama got in 2009 can be found here.
General Motors Company, commonly known as GM, is an American
multinational corporation headquartered in Detroit, Michigan.
According to some censored news coming from Delhi, top business
leaders who were present during various sessions of meetings with Obama could
not hide their desire to possess 'The Beast' and expressed their willingness to
buy similar vehicle from GM at whatever price it was offered. A very prominent
industrialist, who got just 15 to 20 seconds to speak to Obama, appealed to him
to give his nod to GM to accept a firm order of 1000 limousines (worth more
than $1bn) on behalf of all the CEOs present.
"Our PM is genius. Nobody should undermine him. People of this country know it very well that whatever he is doing, or not doing, is all for the national interest"
A GM official told F4Fnews (OCOA) : "We are seeing a
mad rush for 'The Beast' from not only India but also from Russia and China
thanks to prime minister Modi who invited Barack Obama to be the chief guest at
the Republic Day Parade and thus provided the most prominent display
opportunity to the presidential limousine, supplied by us." The official credited Obama
for the sudden popularity of the GM brand in India, China and Russia by saying
: "Obama's decision - to use 'The Beast' instead of following the protocol
- has eventually led to his vehicle become the main topic of discussion not
only in India but also in China and Russia. Indian media was also generous
enough to extensively cover 'The Beast' giving their readers each and every
detail about the vehicle just like a trade magazine does in the US."
"Even we, at the company, were pleasantly surprised to know that our
vehicles had so many unique features and were so precious," he added.
When asked about the fate of the bulk order of 1000 limos
placed via Obama, a senior GM official who is supposed to be a vice president,
Cadillac/Premium Channel for North America told F4Fnews (OCOA) that on
recommendations of the president Obama, GM has decided to accept the order but will
supply its upcoming 2016 CTS-V Sedan without any customized features that the
'The Beast' is known to have." "The buyers will have to make those
changes in India at their own cost and risk," he clarified. Elaborating
the details of CTS-V, he said: "CTS-V breathes power using a 6.2L
supercharged V8 engine with 640 hp and 630 lb.-ft. of torque. It launches to a
top speed of 200 mph on the racetrack and hits 60 mph in 3.7 seconds. The
compact four-lobe Eaton® supercharger works hand in hand with Active Fuel
Management®, providing pristine engine performance."

When pressed about the details of orders from China and
Russia, the official refused to provide any details. "I can't reveal about
the position of the orders received from China and Russia due to
commercial-cum-political reasons but I can tell you that we have outrightly
refused a small order of 25 limos from Pakistan in order to express our
solidarity with India in its fight against terrorism." He was referring to
the continued firing at LoC by Pakistan-supported terrorists, the reports of
which appeared in Indian media during Obama’s stay.
Although, no one is officially ready to acknowledge anything
about 'The Beast' order from India, our own sources who claim to be quite close to the top
officials have informed F4Fnews that Obama was also informally urged to provide a
replica of 'The Beast' as a symbol of the new level of Indo-US friendship for
PM Modi's personal (official) use but Obama kept mum and neither said 'yes' nor 'no'. It is, therefore,
strongly being speculated that Obama might agree to ask GM to provide a more
modern customized version of 'The Beast' as per the advanced American standards. He is under his own pressure to do this in order to calm down those who felt offended by his advice to India on religious tolerance that he made in his remarks on the last leg of his India trip which was otherwise a great hit like SRK's DDLJ.

However, top security experts have warned Indian officials
against getting any customized vehicle from America for PM's use. One
well-known security expert, who was eager to tell his name also for our use in
the quote, said: "I am against the use of 'The Beast' by Narendra Modi
because of the security reasons. I have complete details of the value-added customized
technological capabilities of Obama's presidential limousine which were given
to me by a person close to none other than Dr. Subramanian Swamy." He
claimed that 'The Beast' was capable of wirelessly sending all the live data in
50 km radius to NSA owned servers in the US. "Not only that, if rumours doing
the rounds are to be believed, the limo is equipped with ultra-modern brain
scanners also that can read the thoughts of the passengers and transmit them to
these US based highly secure NSA servers. The use of 'The Beast' would mean
providing full access to not only PM's every detail but also all of his
surroundings," he added.
However, a close PMO source rubbished all the security concerns and described these security experts as fools. He told F4Fnews: "These so-called security experts advising PM not to use 'The Beast' are 'Bachhus' (childish) if not fools. They don't know Narendra Damodardas Modi. He is interested in getting the presidential limo so that our scientists can have some reverse engineering and eventually design a much improved Indian version of the same." He also explained how the vehicle can be (mis)used to misguide those who are collecting information by providing them the false input. "Our PM is genius. Nobody should undermine him. People of this country know it very well that whatever he is doing, or not doing, is all for the national interest," he concluded.
